Then we have a position for you. We are currently seeking a BVKF (Swedish Armed Forces regulations for measures against fire and explosion hazards, water pollution, and chemical health impacts from flammable goods) supervisor for the Örebro garrison.

Main Responsibilities

As a BVKF supervisor, your task is to plan and follow up on operations and ensure that regulations are followed as a representative in BVKF matters. In this role, you will participate in requested inspections, supervision, and controls within the BVKF function. You will follow up on actions according to protocols after completed inspections, supervisions, and controls, as well as manage the administrative support for reporting, coordination, and distributing tasks within the BVKF area.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Assist with risk analysis
  • Be the contact person and support for the permit holder
  • Participate in designated meetings of the staff and be able to provide redundancy in other and new tasks

Qualifications

  • Approved high school education
  • Good experience in administering, coordinating, developing, and maintaining internal routines
  • Education that the employer deems relevant related to BVKF
  • Good ability to express oneself in speech and writing
  • Familiar with working in the Office suite
  • Driver's license B

Meritorious

  • BVKF training
  • Knowledge in fire protection/SBA
  • Previous experience in chemical handling or LBE (the law on flammable and explosive goods)
  • Experience working in the public sector
  • Worked within the Swedish Armed Forces

The position is a full-time permanent position that begins with a 6-month probationary period for those who do not already work within the Swedish Armed Forces. The position includes international work obligations and an obligation to be placed in wartime.
